Woodland Scene Carved Doors

Parrett worked hand-in-hand with the homeowner of a lakeside retreat home to help make their door design dreams a reality. Utilizing original artwork provided by the customer, these doors were intricately carved by Parrett though the combination of artistic CNC programming and Parrett’s high quality handcraftsmanship.

These 72” X 80” inswing french doors were constructed of knotty alder to match the surrounding woodwork of the cabin, and were then hand-stained by Parrett with various color shades to accentuate the three dimensional carved door surface. To ensure stability once installed in the field, the doors were constructed at 2-1/2” thick and also utilized heavy duty 5” X 5” ball bearing commercial hinges.
