Bifold Window Screen Systems

Parrett bifold window units are available with a variety of operable and fixed screen systems. Depending on the size and installation of a unit, Parrett can recommend an optimal system such as horizontally sliding, manual pulldown, or motorized operation.

Operable screen systems can be either exposed or concealed. Parrett also has the capabilities to provide these screen systems with decorative wood grain finishes to match your desired aesthetics.

Vertically Sliding Operable Screens

The example above illustrates a manual pulldown screen system. Additionally, Parrett offers motorized rolldown screens that are controlled by either remote control or switch. These screen systems are typically installed to the interior of a unit and utilized in outswing bifold units.

Horizontally Sliding Operable Screens

Horizontally sliding screens can either be “one-direction” or split in the middle in “two-direction” applications which are primarily dictated by overall unit dimensions. These screen systems are typically installed to the interior of a unit and utilized in outswing bifold units.

Stationary Screen Systems

While a stationary screen will not allow a bifold to be used as a pass through, depending on the intended application, can be effectively utilized in an inswing bifold unit. Parrett does also have options for operable screens on inswing bifold units. Typically operable screens are installed to the exterior of the unit.
